Daniel is from the Te Ātihau nui a pāpā rangi tribe from the Whanganui River in Aotearoa, New Zealand. With a mixed heritage of Maori & Scottish his spiritual journey as a sound healer started with the use of world instruments which then led him to reconnect with his Maori roots and the sound of his land. He uses a range of world instruments, from didgeridoos, Native American flutes, crystal bowls, Nepalese bowls, guitar , hand pans and taonga puoro, a variety of hand made Maori instruments. These sacred instruments previously fulfilled many functions within our Māori society including a call to arms, dawning of the new day, communications with the gods and the planting of crops.
After many years of feeling the incredible benefits of Yoga as a student and a teacher, Zuzana opened Free Flow Yoga studio in Murwillumbah in 2016. The vision was to create a community space where like minded souls would come together regularly, removing themselves from the busyness of everyday life and learning the ancient tools of movement, breath and meditation medicine to return to a state of effortless Free Flow. This is our natural state, the state of optimum health for our mind, body, energy and spirit.
